SUMMARY
Responsible for reviewing, validating, and auditing products, materials, procedures, processes, forms, and records Pre/Post Manufacturing to verify they meet Aerospace Quality Standards and Customer expectations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may supervise the activities of other nonexempt personnel.
JOB COMPLEXITY
Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to multi-task, focus and maintain attention to detail. Can work with minimal day-to-day Supervision and complete all required tasks. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and/or at least six years related experience and/or training.
Preferred Aerospace Manufacturing and or Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and write English. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic arithmetic associated manufacturing quality control and assurance requirements. Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. This includes ability to read and use measuring, inspection and testing tools (i.e. rulers, tape measures, Calipers, Micrometers, Electrical Meters, ) and associated arithmetic.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
