Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Technician at our Little Chute & Appleton locations. 

This is an excellent role if you have experience in Manufacturing Quality Inspection and want to enjoy a 4 Day Workweek!

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect parts for previous damage.
  • Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
  • Inspect parts after coating is complete as needed.
  • Perform all In-Coming & In-Process inspections as directed.
  • Perform all 1st piece inspections as required.
  • Complete IP inspection audits for operators and inspectors
  • Perform PPAP, 1st Article & MQP as directed.
  • Respond to RMA’s as directed.
  • Perform equipment calibration as directed.
  • Provide quality process for production. Make changes necessary for optimal performance.
  • Support all inspections and data. OTIFNE (On-Time In-Full No-Errors)
  • Track defect data and participate in corrective actions. Complete DMR & CAR as required.
  • Resolve internal defects (RNC)
  •  Participate in MRB resolutions.
  • Provide quality process for production. Make changes necessary for optimal performance.
  • Comply with ISO & quality system requirements.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. 

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality background preferred.
  • Ability to use standard bench measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of inspections & quality control methods.
  • Navigating a PC with MS windows and MS Office.
  • Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
