To oversee the audits of process and products within the department to which they are assigned. This includes control plan audits and the verification of data taken on a daily basis to verify that process controls are being utilized
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge:
Business Writing
General Computer Operation
Manufacturing Concepts
High School Diploma
Proficient in computer operation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications preferred
Good Communication Skills
Planning and organizational skills
Main Tasks:
Interface with quality engineering functions to secure documentation needed for successful audits
Daily process audits designed to verify the process controls in use are being utilized and functioning
Process Audits
Ensure specifications are met according to the Control Plan in assigned area
Create and Follow up on Quality Alerts
Assist with Containment when defects occur
Download reading into the color care software
Advise the color harmony team when the readings are out of tolerance
Responsible for measuring orange peel and gloss using the Wave scan and Gloss meters
Assist the Color Technicians when needed
Perform related office and clerical functions such as, data entry and filing.
