DESCRIPTION:
As a Field Office Safety Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide accurate and efficient word processing for contracts, correspondence, and internal documents while maintaining strict confidentiality
Organize and maintains filing systems; ensures timely document distribution and easy retrieval
Coordinate with job-site staff and payroll to verify attendance, hours worked, and field time accuracy
Work with superintendents to assign and coordinate field personnel across jobsites
Collaborate with project managers on field activities, reporting, and monthly billing processes
Maintain office supplies and services for jobsites, including ordering and inventory management
Act as liaison between executives, departments, clients, and external contacts; coordinates meetings and communications
Handle daily administrative tasks such as expense reports, requisitions, and personnel forms
Prepare reports, analyses, and other materials with minimal supervision
Support client coordination, job performance tracking, and project closeout documentation
Perform safety administration duties, including recordkeeping, training coordination, compliance support, incident reporting, and equipment tracking
Promote continuous learning and professional development
Complete additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of secretarial and administrative experience, including research responsibilities
Working knowledge of business procedures, letter writing, report formatting, and basic arithmetic
Typing speed of 65–70 WPM with accuracy; ability to take dictation
Proficiency in computer systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
Previous experience or knowledge of the construction industry preferred
