Perform functional equipment testing including: Functionality verification, validation, and testing; component troubleshooting; and replacing non-working components (screen, printer, circuit boards, SSRs, etc.) prior to final QC. Program controllers and load software. Perform final QC on all manufactured items and complete the appropriate documentation using established procedures. Record and analyze failures and participate in corrective action and process improvements. Ensure that all products that pass thru production meet established quality standards before leaving.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of Heatcon equipment assembly experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to assemble, visually inspect, and test electro-mechanical equipment; upload software; and perform quality control functions including documentation. Must have a working knowledge of electronics. Ability to read schematics, read engineering drawings, utilize hand and soldering tools, and read a multi-meter. Must understand bonder functionality, uses, and calibration.
Ability to use a personal computer, computer operating systems, and word processing programs and ability to type. Proficiency with low-level computer systems (DOS), serial communications, and file transfer functions.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple instructions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate information, one-on-one and in small groups, to other employees and management.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of arithmetic.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to assimilate information from diverse sources to form a complete situational picture and develop a plan of action to accomplish the task. Ability to deal with problems involving several abstract variables in standardized situations.
