In this position, you will assist in creating and implementing safety management programs within our engineering district. Your responsibilities will include participating in both formal and on-the-job training, helping to enforce safety policies and procedures, and supporting district and county Safety Recognition initiatives and Safety Stand Days. You will also play a role in monitoring compliance with safety programs, providing training, and conducting site visits as part of the Accident/Injury Prevention Program.
Additionally, you will be involved in the Accident Review Committee, where you will investigate serious injuries and accidents, ensuring that corrective actions are identified and executed. Your role will also include coordinating accident reports related to personal injuries, fleet incidents, and equipment issues, while guiding management in developing and implementing safety-related corrective measures. It is essential that all accident and injury investigations are completed within the required timeframes and properly routed through the review process.
