DMT Trucking is a specialized flatbed operation, and part of the PS Logistics family of companies.

DMT currently runs over 250 trucks and almost 375 trailers from our three terminals in Starke, FL, Camden, AL, and Broken Bow, OK. DMT Trucking provides safe and reliable transportation to customers across the eastern half of the United States, and is unique to any other PS Logistics owned company in that its fleet of over the road trailers is comprised of all 53-foot trailers.

Job Description

Works with Omnitracs/Samsara ELD devices, as well as paper logs, and keeping up with hours of service for over the road drivers.  The Safety Specialist also counsels’ drivers and makes adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Monitor electronic logging devices for federal compliance.
  • Taking calls for any PS Logistics drivers regarding Hours of Service.
  • Manage drivers who are in violation of their Hours of Service.
  • Approve/Deny PC based off FAQs criteria put out by FMCSA.
  • Assist with editing logs (drivers that accidentally stayed on duty instead of going off duty)
  • Monitor alerts that are setup for both Samsara and Omnitracs.
  • Running reports after midnight and send directly to HOS department and Safety Manager.
