• Reviewing and supporting JSAs/JHAs for high-risk construction activities
• Monitoring subcontractor safety performance and enforcing accountability
• Supporting fall protection planning for multi-story work
• Overseeing leading-edge, open-deck, structural steel, and concrete-related hazards
• Monitoring crane, rigging, and material handling activities
• Investigating incidents, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions
• Partnering with field leadership to correct hazards before they become incidents
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Experience supporting large-scale, ground-up construction projects

• Understanding of leading-edge and open-deck safety practices
• Experience with crane and rigging safety oversight
• Ability to manage subcontractor compliance and accountability
• Strong communication, documentation, and field leadership skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required
This role is best suited for a Safety Manager who has supported complex commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, research, higher education, or technical facility construction projects.
Candidates with experience in structural steel, concrete, exterior skin/building envelope, crane operations, rigging, fall protection, and high-risk work planning are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Consistent 50-hour work weeks
• High-visibility ground-up construction project
• Strong opportunity to lead safety across structural and envelope phases
• Local Tampa-area opportunity with long-term project stability
