Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented RN Director of Quality & Risk to join a healthcare organization in Beckley, West Virginia. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing quality improvement initiatives, risk management programs, and regulatory compliance to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care delivery.

The Director will collaborate with clinical leadership, physicians, and administrative teams to drive performance improvement, reduce risk, and support a culture of safety across the organization. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $111,000 to $150,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare quality and patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Active West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
  • Previous experience in quality improvement and/or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety practices, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) and/or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain CPHRM and/or CPPS certification within two (2) years of employment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
