We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team on a 4on/4off schedule. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles and the ability to perform inspections, testing, and data analysis to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position demands a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, utilizing appropriate inspection methods and equipment.
  • Perform routine testing and analysis, accurately recording and interpreting results.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, initiating corrective actions and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports, test data, and quality control documentation, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize workflow management techniques to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks, adhering to established schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to address quality-related concerns.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and supervisors regarding quality-related matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • General knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
