The Quality Technician will create and revise work instructions, monitor daily production, and verify new product to support the implementation and advancement of the Quality Management System. The Quality Technician aligns closely with operations, maintenance, technicians, and others in support of overall corporate goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Supports shift inspectors through measuring and testing product.
Initiate and train inspectors on quality processes.
Provides shift inspectors training as needed based on NCR's and/or RMA's.
Conduct layered quality audits.
Log inspection data and file lot traceability and inspection forms.
Assists with managing and maintaining the Non-Conformance / Hold Area.
Create, revise and maintain process books and work instructions.
Communicate with customers and/or suppliers regarding quality matters.
Ensure inspections and process books are consistent with ECN changes.
Assist with the launch of new products and customers.
Creates certificate of compliance and certificate of analysis records for shipments.
Participate in internal & external audit processes when required.
Support PPM goals and scorecard improvements by providing data for reporting.
Participate in Lean cell improvements and Kaizen events.
Assist with FAIR's and PPAP's and new product introduction.
Create and maintain WinSPC Logs and other Inspection Logs.
Qualifications / Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in a related industry or discipline highly desired.
