Your new role:
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support multiple sites while helping shape a strong safety culture across our global organization. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on international business experience. The role reports directly to our Australia‑based HSE Director, with an additional indirect reporting line to the Heads of PT6 and TPE331 in Adelaide, Australia—offering significant exposure to global stakeholders and cross‑regional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant U.S. federal, state, and local regulations.
Actively contribute to the development, execution, and monitoring of annual EHS plans and objectives that align with corporate EHS goals.
Conduct regular site visits and collaborate with local management to identify EHS obligations, ensure compliance, and promote best practices.
Perform risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, and periodic site inspections.
Lead efforts to enhance the organization’s safety culture through engagement, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported, investigated, and closed out in a timely manner, meeting organizational performance objectives.
Serve as an active member of local EHS committees and contribute to the global EHS team’s initiatives.
Develop, implement, and regularly test site-specific emergency response plans.
Manage hazardous chemical inventories, including maintaining the hazardous chemical manifest and performing risk assessments for new chemicals.
Skills And Experiences
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
ESSENTIAL:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Equivalent experience combined with certifications may be considered.
At least 3 years of experience implementing EHS systems in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment, preferably across multiple sites.
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and other relevant U.S. federal and Arizona state EHS legislation.
Proficiency in risk management and the development of effective risk control measures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Technical knowledge of health, safety, and environment disciplines.
DESIRABLE:
Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
Experience conducting thorough incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Proven ability to deliver engaging EHS training sessions and presentations to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with EHS management systems and global incident reporting tools.
Experience working with local emergency response teams and government agencies.
