EHS Coordinator

• Assumes responsibility for managing and updating contractor compliance portals to ensure the company is in good standing with customers. Will require coordinating requests with other departments in the company.
• Assumes responsibility for processing, coordinating, updating, maintaining, and reporting employee background, drug and alcohol screenings. Ensures employees are current and in compliance. Responsible for agency audits regarding background, drug, and alcohol screenings.
• Assumes responsibility for record retention of all types of training and certification records for the company. Responsible for organizing, tracking, updating, and reporting on all records.
• Assumes responsibility for coordinating, scheduling, and tracking employee qualifications and required training for field jobs.
• Responsible for attending necessary customer site safety forums, pre-job meetings, turnaround reviews, etc.
• Responsible for assisting the Safety Department in any customer or third-party EHS-related audits.
• Responsible for driving an exceptional safety culture by encouraging and demonstrating safe behaviors.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• Available to work overtime and answer after-hours emergency phone calls.
