Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers on quality and food safety matters
- Review, interpret, and maintain customer Supplier Quality and Supplier Expectation Manuals
- Lead discussions with customers to clarify and align on quality and food safety program expectations
- Communicate agreedâupon customer requirements internally and ensure deployment across manufacturing sites
- Partner with Plant Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and crossâfunctional teams to implement customer requirements into site processes and controls
- Lead customer complaint investigations at the corporate level and support siteâled investigations as required, ensuring timely, risk based root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in corporateâled initiatives, including internal audits, quality system assessments, harmonization projects, and continuous improvement programs
- Provide customerâdriven feedback during reviews of corporate and siteâlevel quality documentation
- Evaluate and manage changes to customer quality and food safety requirements, ensuring appropriate impact assessment, communication, and implementation across sites.

Physical Requirements:
- General office environment with majority of time using computer
- Manual & Visual Requirements-Keyboard and mouse usage. Visual acuity and clear hearing ability.
- Requires frequent travel (25 – 35%)

- Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear, when on the plant floor v. office.

- Acts as a trusted quality partner with assigned customers, demonstrating responsiveness, professionalism, and technical credibility
- Proactively anticipates and addresses customer quality and food safety needs to support strong customer partnerships.
- Leads customer meetings, audits, and presentations with confidence, clarity, and technical command
- Ensures customer expectations are accurately implemented and sustained across manufacturing sites
- Drives timely, thorough, and effective complaint investigations with sustainable corrective and preventive actions
- Identifies complaint trends and translates insights into systemic improvement opportunities
- Actively contributes to corporate quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Models and promotes a strong culture of food safety, quality accountability, and customer focus
- Demonstrates measurable improvement in audit outcomes, or quality performance over time.
Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, or Manufacturing Quality roles, preferably in food or consumerâpackaged goods industries.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers on quality expectations and issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems (e.g., GFSI schemes, HACCP, GMPs).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work crossâfunctionally and influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, Six Sigma, ASQ) preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. The base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. The actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, education, certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).
Salary Range:130K-155K
